- My short story Pandora’s Sax won Jerry Jazz Musician’s 43rd short fiction contest, and was a top ten finisher in the Austin Chronicle’s 24th short story contest.
- My short story Rowing was a top finisher (for the second year in a row) in the Austin Chronicle’s 25th short story contest.
- My poem She Said She Said took the 3rd prize for the Marianne Logan Award in the Austin Poetry Society’s Annual Contest.
- This poem won 2nd place in the Austin Poetry Society’s March contest: Ultrasound.
